I have been researching possible venues for next years fun and games, and having looked at nine Hotels with golf courses, finally settled on a new destination for GHOFAT 25.
John Billot and I visited the Macdonald Hotel today and we have accepted the terms of the contract and we have reserved the dates for GHOFAT 25 as below.

We are now contracted to pay the holding deposit of £200.00 by the end of the year to keep the date reserved for us.

SO, PLEASE ANSWER THE THREE QUESTIONS AT THE END OF THIS NOTE TO ENABLE ME TO MOVE FORWARD,

Cost.........£119.00 per person based on two sharing Single room occupancy £40.00 supplement.

£10.00 per person bar credit on draught beer and house wine
10% discount on draught beer and house wine after £10 bar credit has been used. ( Yes.. read that again...it is true!)

Golf courses...
There are two courses, and we will play them both.

THE EMERALD is a par 73 6288 yard

THE SAPPHIRE is a par 66 4449 yard

The Hotel is of international standard with comfortable rooms and ample space for our after golf activities with good bars and pleasant staff.

This venue offers incredibly good value with top class accommodation and golf courses compared with the nine other establishments where prices varied from £229.00 (Belton) £235.00 (Tewkesbury) £279.00 (Carden Park)

Update - 3 December - I have paid the holding deposit so will those 15, who have taken advantage of this once in a lifetime offer, kindly pay to my account the sum of £35 ASAP - please ensure your name and, if possible, "ghofat25" is in the reference so I can call off the debt collectors (Fifi and Cuddles) in due time.
 
I am reliably informed that the first ten deposits received may receive a room upgrade.
